"Beaky" - Tony Carpenter - guitar & vocals - started his career as an actor playing The Artful Dodger in the West End production of Oliver. He has appeared in many more productions since, including The Sound Of Music. He also starred alongside David Essex in the highly successful production of Mutiny at the Piccadilly Theatre. "Beaky" played with Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich for many years.
"Hud" - Richard Hudson - drums & vocals - played with The Strawbs. "Hud" was responsible for writing The Strawbs' biggest hit Part Of The Union. He also penned Pick Up The Pieces, Burn Baby Burn and Floating In The Wind (Hudson Ford), and Nice Legs Shame About The Face (The Monks). Since his time with The Strawbs, "Hud" has worked with his own band Hudson Ford, as well as Rick Wakeman, Dennis Locorriere (Doctor Hook), The Good Old Boys and many more.
Bill Phillips - bass & vocals - played in The Glitter Band. Bill has recently been touring with the band again, in and around Europe. In the past he has worked with The Groundhogs and Denim. He also plays with The Good Old Boys and The Ali Mac Band (Birds). His career has also included session work for countless famous names.
The Beaky Band plays songs ranging from the 60s through to the present day. They are topical, professional, exciting and entertaining.
